The **Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation** along with **Greater Camden Partnership** and other Camden organizations, funded a vacant lot stabilization program aimed at addressing one of the residents’ top priorities. Recognizing that clearing and greening vacant lots encourages further investment in community revitalization efforts, the Soul Foundation offered to fund a “match grant” opportunity.

UN -World Habitat Day was held on Monday, October 5, 2009. The annual event was held this year in Washington, D.C., the first time a U.S. city has hosted the global event. Jon Bon Jovi was invited as a special guest & keynote speaker to help shine a light on affordable housing, sustainable development and better urban planning.
On behalf of the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation and others, the Greater Camden Partnership has kicked off the Camden Community GreenUp, a project meant to reclaim the vacant lots that drag on Camden’s resources and quality of life.
