The JBJ Soul Foundation would like to congratulate our Board Chairman, Jon Bon Jovi, on being named this year’s recipient of the Marian Anderson Award.

NJ Soul of Hunger


Over the past year, the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation has worked with the New Jersey Anti-Hunger Coalition (NJAHC) on a program called NJ Soul of Hunger (NJSOH). The goal of the program has been to educate the public and policy makers about the broad scope of hunger in New Jersey by using real stories and voices of those experiencing hunger first hand.

Philadelphia, PA – May 7, 2014 – More than 450 people joined Jon Bon Jovi, Craig Spencer and some of Broadway’s most talented stars on May 7th in a celebration of Covenant House’s 15th year in Pennsylvania. A Night of Broadway Stars is an annual fundraiser benefiting Covenant House Pennsylvania, a nonprofit organization that serves homeless, at-risk and trafficked youth.

Kelly Cares Foundation Presented a Check to the Special Olympics USA to Support this Summer’s Games in New Jersey

(April 24, 2014 – New York, NY) – The Kelly Cares Foundation, established by Notre Dame head football coach Brian Kelly and his wife Paqui, honored the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, and Notre Dame alumni Anne Thompson, NBC News Chief Environmental Affairs Correspondent, and Peter Schivarelli, Manager of the band Chicago, at its Irish Eyes Gala on Wednesday, April 23rd at the Sheraton Times Square in Manhattan. The gala raised over $800,000 which will support causes locally, nationally, and globally.

Funders Jon Bon Jovi and Middleton Family Join City Officials to Open the Mixed-Use Development for Formerly Homeless, Teens Aging out of Foster Care and Low-Income Individuals

PHILADELPHIA, April 22, 2014 – Project HOME announced today the grand opening of JBJ Soul Homes, a four-story mixed-use development that includes retail, offices and 55 apartment units for formerly homeless and low-income people. With remarks by Jon Bon Jovi, public officials and community partners, the opening will serve as the first part of Project HOME’s 25th Anniversary.
